WESTERN REGION COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM

Introducing the Canopy Housing Foundation, Western Region Community Grants Program! For the first time ever, the Realtor® community is offering a formalized grant program to assist the Haywood community in addressing critical needs. This inaugural grant program will provide monetary support to nonprofit organizations within Haywood County to address unmet housing needs. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization can request funds up to $3,000 (maximum grant amount considered) for programming related
purposes.
Please note that all grant applications must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a Realtor® member of the Canopy Realtor® Association (member must be in good standing at the time of application). Applications will be reviewed by a community panel and will be evaluated on the following criteria: Community Impact, Project Feasibility, Fiscal Strength, and Realtor® Support.

Applications will be accepted until July 15, 2020, with distribution of awarded funds at a Realtor® luncheon to be held on September 8, 2020.
