SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Each year, Canopy Housing Foundation Western Region provides two scholarships to graduating seniors.
Scholarship applications are reviewed by a panel of Realtors® in Haywood County. The selection panel makes its recommendation for recipients to Haywood County Schools Foundation.
2026 Scholarship Recipients
Vivian Aumen – Haywood Early College (HEC)
Vivian has a 4.6 GPA and is very active at HEC participating in Environmental leadership activities. She is an accomplished violinist and an avid snow-skier. She has been accepted to Western Carolina University and will be studying Biology.
Jordan Capps – Pisgah High School
Jordan has a GPA of 3.778 and has played football all through senior high and was also a member of the National Honor Society. Jordan loves to fish and has been accepted to Western Carolina University where he will study business.
Kalie Cochran – Tuscola High School
Kalie has a GPA of 4.0 and is active at Tuscola as a Media Assistant in the library. She will have her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certificate by the end of this year and will be attending Haywood Community College to further her nursing degree.
